Judy Centers

By empowering families as a child’s first teachers, Judy Centers offer family engagement activities such as playgroups and other educational events that help families learn new ways to engage with their children, fostering positive early experiences that lay the foundation for academic success. Judy Centers offer training in in the Caregiver Pyramid Model training, entitled Positive Solutions for Families. Reach out to your local Judy Center to see when trainings are happening near you.

LOCATE: Child Care

LOCATE: Child Care, is a free and confidential referral service that will help you find the best child care for your family. This service is made available by the Maryland Family Network.

Maryland Coalition of Families

If you think your child has a developmental delay or disability, Maryland Coalition of Families can help. Their trained staff have experience as parents, grandparents and caregivers of children who have had developmental delays or behavioral health challenges—and now they use their knowledge to support other families.

Maryland's Family Support Patty Center Network

Maryland has a network of 24 Patty Centers (formerly named Family Support Centers) in 14 counties that offer free, educational and health-related services to parents and their children ages birth through three.

The Parents’ Place offers various programs and services that support families of children with disabilities and special health care needs.
